Privacy Policy

WordCloud Studio is built and operated by 4Brains Technologies Private Limited (“we”). This page explains what information the site handles. The short version: the word art you make is generated entirely in your browser, and we collect as little as possible.

Your words and designs

The text you type and the images you upload are processed on your own device to generate the artwork. They are not sent to our servers unless you create an account and choose to save a design.

If you don’t have an account, designs you save are stored only in your browser’s local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you do, we store your email address, a one-way hashed version of your password (we never store or see the password itself), and the designs you choose to save, so they can sync across your devices. We don’t sell or share this information, and we don’t send marketing email.

You can delete your saved designs at any time from the editor. To delete your account entirely, email contact@4brains.in from the address you signed up with and we’ll remove it.

Cookies and local storage

• Session cookie (wa_session) — set only when you sign in, so you stay signed in. It expires after 14 days or when you sign out.
• Local storage — used to keep your saved designs on this device when you are not signed in.
• Advertising cookies — see the next section.

Advertising

To keep the tool free, we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read more in Google’s advertising policies. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set.

Fonts

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address as part of that request, as with any web resource.

Analytics and logs

Our servers keep standard, short-lived access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. We use them to block abuse, not to profile you.

Children

The tool is safe for all ages, but accounts are intended for users 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes
